The faces behind Bostonair

Bostonair team is made up of a strong management team with copious experience in their respective fields. Mark Parkes, Group Managing Director and Owner has led the company from strength to strength since its inception in 1997. Our extremely qualified team ensures that the Bostonair training is second to none.

Mark Parkes

Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

Mark is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Bostonair Group Ltd. Mark joined Bostonair in 1997 and led the company’s move into Recruitment, Line Maintenance, Training and the Energy sector.

Adam Sumner

Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Adam joined Bostonair in 2010 as Finance Director and in 2022 became our Chief Financial Officer. As a Chartered Accountant, Adam has previously worked in Audit & Investigations, Industrial Services, Manufacturing and FMCG sectors. Adam was educated at London University and Manchester and Harvard Business Schools.

Andrew Parker

Managing Director of Aviation

Andrew joined Bostonair in January 2018 as Aviation Director & Accountable Manager for Bostonair Ltd and Bostonair Technical Training Ltd.

 

He was educated at the University of Portsmouth and has 20 years of experience in Aviation spanning two airlines.

 

He previously spent the last 7 years as Head of Operations with Monarch Airlines ensuring a safe and efficient operational delivery.

Nick Harrison

Operations Manager

Nick joined the team as Operations Manager in 2020 after a number of years working with BAE and on contract with several aviation brands, Airbus, Lufthansa, Rolls Royce, Condor. Before his current role, Nick had previously worked with Bostonair as a Linkman and originally joined the team as Account Manager in 2008.

Stefan Agnello

Maintenance Director

Stefan entered the aviation industry in 1994 in the German fly navy and has since held several roles, starting as an unlicensed mechanic, to then become a licensed engineer, station manager and maintenance manager. In 2023 Stefan became the Maintenance Director.

Maintenance Manager EASA Form 4 holder, holding EASA Part 66 licence B1/C on several types including Dornier 228, Dornier 328, B747-400, B757, B767 & B777.

Nicholas Rapp

Bostonair Australia General Manager

Nicholas is an organisational strategist. He brings deep and cross-discipline strategic expertise to Bostonair Australia. Having worked as a client-side leader in the finance sector, he led the ANZ part of a global business management consultancy, managed a manufacturing company in Milan, and worked for different international firms. The unique value Nicholas brings to clients focuses on the intersection of people, user experiences, workplace culture, business strategies, new ways of working, sustainability and brand advocacy to create a competitive advantage.

Sven Eckardt

General Manager, Bostonair GmbH

Sven joined Bostonair in May 2022 as General Manager of Bostonair GmbH.

After his A-levels he joined the German Air Force for 5 years, graduating from the German Air Force Academy and is currently Reserve Captain. He spent the last 23 years within the Inflight Services department at United Airlines fulfilling numerous Management and Supervisory roles, both being based in Chicago, USA and in Frankfurt, Germany.

Sven also has an Instructor Aptitude Certification from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Frankfurt, Germany.

Jacinta Dooley

General Manager, Bostonair Ireland Ltd

Jacinta Dooley joined Bostonair Ireland Ltd in September 2019 as Head Recruiter/Office Manager. Jacinta has over 26 years of experience within the Aviation Industry, with the last 9 years specializing in Aviation Recruitment.

Fenella Jefferson

General Manager, Bostonair APAC

Fenella joined Bostonair in 2022 to manage the Bostonair APAC branch as General Manager.

She has previously worked as a commercial pilot and flying instructor and has been flying for over 21 years. She also has great experience working as an Account Manager in the Pharma Industry in 3 countries and working as a Pilot/Sales representative across the top half of Australia.  She worked in recruitment when she moved to the UK in more recent times, recruiting pilots, engineers and IT personnel for the Aviation industry, before moving to Singapore.

Paul Gash

Head of Training

Paul began his aviation career in the Royal Air Force in 1996, leaving in 2004 to enter the commercial sector.

 

Experienced in both rotary and fixed-wing aircraft, he is a current B1 EASA Licensed Engineer and holder of a wide range of Airbus & Boeing authorisations.

 

Paul is Bostonair’s current Training Manager Form 4 holder.

Jeff Rice

Quality & Safety Manager

Quality Manager since 2010, A Part 66 B1/C licensed engineer with over 42 years Fixed and Rotary wing experience. Held senior managerial positions with Part 145/Part M/Part 147 organisations for the past 25 years in a mix of helicopter and fixed wing organisations.

 

Currently EASA Form 4 holder as Part 145/147 QA Manager for Bostonair, Isenburg Engineering (145 QAM) and Continuing Airworthiness Manager/ARC Signatory for AOC operation.

Holger Behn

European Relationship Manager

Holger joined Bostonair in 2015 with over 25 years of experience in aircraft maintenance.

 

He has worked as Maintenance and Planning Manager for Lufthansa Technik and subsidiary companies and as Project manager for new start-up maintenance for Lufthansa Technik around the world.

 

Holger is a Part 66 license holder, A320 Fam, B737 Fam, A340 and B747-400 B2, B1 and CAT C & EASA/LBA Examiner.

Glenn Hewson

Operations Recruitment Support

Glenn joined Bostonair in 2000 having previously worked for over 20 years working in the Aviation Industry at BAE Systems followed by time at various Line & Base Maintenance stations in the UK and Europe.

 

Glenn has been instrumental in the significant growth of the Bostonair Group being at the forefront of all the company expansions.

Tom Anderton

Head of Recruitment Sales - Transport

Tom Anderton joined Bostonair in March 2016 as Group Marketing Manager. Tom has over 19 years in experience in Marketing in sectors such as Automotive, Energy, Renewables, Aviation and Plumbing & Heating. Has 16 years’ experience in B2B Marketing.

Lauryn Edgington

QSHE Manager & Part 145/147 Auditor

Lauryn joined Bostonair in May 2018 when she started as an Administrative Apprentice in the Aviation department.

 

With hard work and dedication, Lauryn has worked from strength to strength securing herself a position in the Line Maintenance Quality department early on in her administrative career before working her way to becoming an Aviation auditor for the Part 145 and Part 147 sectors of the business.

 

In September 2023, Lauryn was promoted to the Part 145/147 Auditor and QSHE Manager for the Aviation and Norwood House divisions and is now working against EASA, UK CAA, Turkish SHY, NEBOSH, IOSH and ISO Auditor requirements.
