Bostonair lands in Manchester with new line station

9th November 2021

We’ve landed in Manchester! Bostonair would like to introduce our newest addition to our line station locations – Manchester, UK.

Through our Manchester line station, we can potentially support the following aircraft types: B737 NG, A320 CEO (V2500/CFM56), A320 NEO (PW1100G/LEAP1A), A330 CEO, B757 and B767.

Meet our Station Engineer, Alex, who will be working at our new manchester location:

Name: Alex Grey

Role: Station Engineer, Manchester

Previous experience: I started in aviation in 2002 as an apprentice at Monarch. I had a 15-year career with them moving from Apprentice to a mechanic to lead mechanic and then to a licenced engineer. I’ve worked as a licenced engineer for 13 years spanning both base and line maintenance and also gaining experience in maintenance control. Other brands I’ve worked for are Thomas Cook, TUI, Norwegian and Air Tanker.

I’m most looking forward to: I’ve worked with Bostonair previously and I know they’ve got a great customer base. There are lots of exciting projects in the pipeline and I can’t wait to support the team and welcome new customers to Manchester.

Outside of work, I like to: Mostly spend time with my family. I’ve spent a lot of time away with my career so I make the most of my time at home. I also like to go clay pigeon shooting, train at the gym and make sure I’m keeping fit.
