Bostonair GmbH is looking for Aircraft Mechanics/Fitters for a long-term contract position based in Wessling, Germany.

• Flights to/from the assignment provided
• 6 – 12 Month contract with the option to go permanent for the right candidates
• To start December 2023

Responsibilities:

• Comprehensive implementation of structural and mechanical work as well as installations on aircraft and aircraft components in accordance with specifications and processes (tailored to test aircraft)
• Assembly and maintenance of components and systems
• Reporting and resolving complaints and carrying out rework and repairs according to appropriate specifications, support in creating complaint reports
• Support in processing technical problem solutions in collaboration with other departments, such as maintenance organization, manufacturing engineering, design organization, quality management, supply chain or even logistics
• Carrying out adjustment work and functional tests
• Processing work orders/engineering work orders, as well as confirmation and feedback of the work carried out and working hours

Requirements:

• Must have the right to work in the EU / Germany
• Experience on Dornier 228/328 HUGE ADVANTAGE
• Successfully completed technical vocational training in the aviation sector
• 3+ years of professional experience in the maintenance or manufacturing of aircraft or components
• Initial experience and basic knowledge of SAP3+ (SAP S/4Hana is an advantage)
• Good knowledge of MS Office is an advantage
• Very good to good written and spoken English skills (international team)
• Independent working style and ability to work in a team
• High degree of flexibility, willingness to learn and the ability to adapt and respond to changing situations and priorities
