Bostonair GmbH is looking for Aircraft Equipment Mechanics for a contract position based in Weßling, Germany

• Accommodation & local transport are provided
• Flights to/from assignment are provided
• 6 – 12 month contract with possibility of extension

Duties include:

• Comprehensive implementation of structural and mechanical work as well as installations on aircraft and aircraft components in accordance with specifications and processes (tailored to test aircraft)
• Assembly and maintenance of components and systems
• Reporting and resolving complaints and carrying out rework and repairs according to appropriate specifications, support in creating complaint reports
• Support in processing technical problem solutions in collaboration with other departments, such as maintenance organization, manufacturing engineering, design organization, quality management, supply chain or even logistics
• Carrying out adjustment work and functional tests
• Processing work orders/engineering work orders, as well as confirmation and feedback of the work carried out and working hours

Requirements include:

• MUST have the right to work in Germany / EU
• MUST have German security clearance (ZUP)
• Must have valid Human Factors, EWIS & Fuel Tank Safety Certificates
• Experience on Dornier 228/328 is a huge advantage

Skills:

• 3+ years of professional experience in the maintenance or manufacturing of aircraft / components
• Successfully completed technical vocational training in the aviation sector
• Initial experience & basic knowledge of SAP3+ (SAP S/4Hana is an advantage)
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Very good to good written and spoken English skills (international team)
• Independent working style and ability to work in a team
• High degree of flexibility, willingness to learn and the ability to adapt and respond to changing situations and priorities.
