VACANCY DESCRIPTION

Bostonair require a Maintenance Specialist for a long term contract with our client in the Netherlands.

As a Maintenance Specialist, you would manage all maintenance information and give advice on planned maintenance or the rectification of malfunctions on the platform, hangar and outside stations. This is a long-term position of at least 1 year.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing technical maintenance work
  • Advise and determine the prioritization of the work
  • Analyse current disruption data (AHEAD system)
  • Collect and evaluate technical data and prepare work orders for preventive and corrective maintenance
  • Consult and interpret drawings, photos, instructions and diagrams
  • Answer questions and provide technical advice on short or long-term complaints/disruptions both at outstations and at Schiphol
  • Perform risk analysis and consult with the customer, manager and/or support engineer
  • Deployed on a regular basis as a Ground Engineer to both keep your authority current and also to maintain alignment with the operation
  • In this position, you would work irregular services (24/7)

Job Requirements:

  • Several years of work experience as an Aircraft Engineer and have a part 145 B1 and/or B2 license
  • Knowledge of EASA part M, part 145 and other external regulations
  • Good knowledge of AMOS, MS Office and a radio RT license are an advantage
  • Good knowledge of the English language, both spoken and written
