VACANCY DESCRIPTION

Bostonair are currently looking for a Part M Maintenance Planner for a long term role in Europe.

Objectives:
To develop and maintain aircraft maintenance forecasts and schedules that meet the customer’s and Regulatory Authority’s requirements while ensuring that the customer aircraft’s availability, reliability and life cycle costs are optimised.

Specification:
Compiling and verifying that maintenance work packages are correct and complete. Monitor Deferred Defects, Minimum Equipment List and Configuration Deviation List (MEL/CDL) items and plan the required maintenance tasks. Accurately compiling and issuing the 7 day maintenance plan to customer and internal organisations.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain aircraft maintenance forecasts and schedules
  • Create and issue line and base maintenance work packages and ensure parts and materials are scheduled
  • Reconcile maintenance plans to accommodate airline customer operational requirements
  • Monitor the following to ensure contained within Maintenance Work packages: Deferred Defects, Minimum Equipment List, Configuration Deviation List (MEL/CDL)
  • Coordinate operator recovery plans for operational disruptions and develop alternative maintenance plans
  • Develop and enhance processes and procedures to ensure and improve customer aircraft availability

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Good knowledge of industry and regulatory requirements as applicable to the operation and support of transport category aircraft
  • Strong knowledge and experience of working with an AMP and MPD
  • Working knowledge and understanding of EASA Part M regulation in the provision of Continuing Airworthiness activities can be demonstrated
  • Working knowledge and understanding of EASA Part 145 regulation in the provision of maintenance of aircraft maintenance and components can be demonstrated
  • Developing and maintaining aircraft maintenance forecast and schedules
  • Experience working with a maintenance system such as AMOS, is essential
  • Must have excellent organisation skills and the ability to work under pressure
  • Must be able to work as part of an international/global team
